Best line, which is even funnier out of context: "'She's getting raped.' Seven minutes later: 'She's still getting raped.'"

And by the by -- to answer your previous query re: Fulci and duck people, I'm pretty sure that "Don't Torture the Duckling" has a duck-voiced killer, as does "The New York Ripper." Why Fulci is so fascinated with murderous Donaldabees is beyond me... but then, like you said, it's Fulci. Why the fuck should we care, etc. etc.

And as I type this, I'm most of the way through "Faces." OMFG. Casavettes is an astonishment. OMFG.

Wait til you get to "A Woman Under the Influence" and "Love Streams".

Are you going in order?

I would if I had access to "Husbands." What eats at me is that I know that showed up on Flix or one of the Encore channels or something about a year ago. I know because I was flipping channels and the damn thing showed up on the schedule, except that I'd missed all but the last half hour. Aargh.

Re: The Duck Thing. I don't know why Fulci was so obsessed with killers having duck voices, but I do know, based on my recent trip through Italy, that (and I'm going to use all caps here): ITALIANS LOVE DONALD DUCK. They call him "Topolino" and I kept seeing him everywhere: comic books, ads, etc. I ... I don't know what it means. I'm just saying two and two makes five. It's an Italian thing, and we weren't made to understand.

(Actual Italians are encouraged to set me straight here. ;-p)
