So Aliens and Alien 3 get the same rating? You're the only person I know who's said they're equal. Care to elaborate? Has Aliens slid in quality since you've last seen it, or did Alien 3 somehow get better?

Call it my love of the Prison Planet genre.
I think Aliens 3 is flawed in some ways, but the design and mood of the piece are much stronger then it gets credit for. Besides, all of the Alien movies have a special place in my heart of hearts, and therefore get a higher rating than most logic (and / or critics) dictate. Even Alien Resurrection get's panned too hard--it had SWIMMING Aliens in it!
